How to post a comment

I received a comment on my Facebook page the other day regarding commenting on this blog. So I put together a short video that shows you how to comment on the blog:





You really want to engage your reader as a blogger. Remember from that first post, I wrote that an advantage for Blogger is that it can act like a social networking site, with more options for moderation.

You can run a blog as a teacher, restrict which comments get attached to your posts. Blogger will send you an e-mail once someone comments. That e-mail will contain the text of the comment, and allow you to approve or disapprove.

Also, you can set your Blogger up so only registered users can comment. So if you only wanted students to comment and you want to know which student is commenting, you could have them sign up for a free Google account. When they comment, they have to use that username, so you can know who's using your site.
